Questions
How does Nameak generate business names?
Nameak combines your keywords and their alternatives using naming styles such as compound, portmanteau, invented, classical roots and short brandable forms. It filters the candidates for length, pronunciation and letter patterns, then ranks them with a transparent brandability score. Each name comes with a pronunciation guide and an explanation of how it was built; explanations are creative interpretations, not dictionary definitions.
Is Nameak free?
Yes. You can try one search without an account. A free account receives 100 credits every day, enough for 10 searches, and checking a domain is free whenever no registration is found. Nameak Pro ($5/month) adds 500 credits each billing cycle that never expire.
How do credits work?
A search costs 10 credits whether you ask for 20 names or 200. A domain check costs 2 credits only when the registry confirms the domain is registered; unregistered, unverified and failed lookups are free. Daily free credits are used first and reset to 100 at midnight Central time. They do not accumulate from one day to the next.
Do paid credits expire?
No. Credits from Nameak Pro billing cycles and from credit packs never expire, and they stay in your account if you cancel your subscription.
How accurate are domain availability checks?
Nameak asks the registry directly, using its RDAP service (or the registry WHOIS for .co). “Registered” means the registry returned a record for the domain. “No registration found” means it did not, but the domain may still be reserved, premium-priced or recently released, so confirm with a registrar before relying on it. Extensions without a free authoritative lookup are shown as unverified, never guessed.
Can Nameak guarantee trademark availability?
No. Nameak opens the official USPTO and WIPO search tools so you can do preliminary research. Trademark conflicts depend on similar sounds and meanings, goods and services, territories and unregistered rights, so consult a qualified trademark attorney before you commit to a name.
